The Zillertal Arena is the best ski resort in the Alps. The biggest ski resort in the Zillertal valley and Pinzgau was crowned the overall winner of the international ‘Ski Area Test 2010/11’ in terms of its quality, safety, service and innovative ideas for the cable car industry in the Alpine region. The Zillertal Arena came out on top against competitors from countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy and France.
All of the guests can see these investments and innovations for themselves from 2 to 4.12.2011: following the first session on the pistes of this season, the Arena and its guests will be celebrating the night away in the party stronghold of Gerlos at the legendary ‘Luigi’s Turbokeller’. On the weekend of 9-11 December, visitors can also enjoy a big fireworks display at the heart of the Zillertal Arena and skiers and snowboarders can prepare for the season as late as 16-18.12.2011 when an open-air art and live music in Gerlos will complete this warm-up to the season.
